History of ConneXion Church
ConneXion Church (CC) is one of Savannah’s cross racial and multi-generational ministry located in southeast Savannah, Georgia.
Vision: To connect the disconnected to Jesus Christ.
Mission: To rebuild lives and rebuild the city of Savannah from the inside out through transformative worship experiences and Christ-centered outreach.
ConneXion developed from the merger of three Savannah congregations located a few miles apart on Skidaway Road. Two of the congregations were historically white congregations and one of the congregations was a historically African American congregation. These three congregations under God’s direction came together to form ConneXion Church, becoming an official congregation in June of 2016.
ConneXion Church Exists To:
● Connect all people to Christ, His Church, and His Commission
● Destroy the racial barriers that prevail in our communities
● Share the love of Christ with all people
● Connect people with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ
● Provide a safe and spiritually uplifting environment for persons of all races and ages
Connexion launched as a new congregation on January 8, 2017. Bishop Bryan, the resident bishop of the South Georgia Annual Conference, dedicated and consecrated the church’s newly renovated facility on January 29, 2017.
We are continually excited about the things that God has done, is doing, and will do through ConneXion church.
